- Suite documents, notes, and workspace data are stored locally by default rather than being placed in a remote account merely to remain accessible.
- Exceptions should be visible
- If a feature needs an external service, CourtneyOS should identify what is being sent and why instead of hiding the exception in background behavior.
- Your work remains portable
- Suites should support useful exports and avoid turning access to your own material into a support request or subscription hostage.
- Core work is not defined by a connection
- Local suite functions should remain useful when the internet is unavailable, with connected features identified separately.
